Questions consultants ask before reselling the brief

The detail behind the consultant page: what your client receives, who sees each brief first, and how billing and cancelling work.

What your client receives

  1. Price change · your client's competitor

The shop across the square raised prices and dropped their standing discount

You knew before your client did — a call at 9am instead of an apology in month eleven.

  2. New entrant · eleven weeks out

A competitor signed a lease four blocks from your client

Caught from a filed permit and a first press mention — before there is a name or a sign for an alert to match.

  3. Hiring signal · same market

Three roles posted in a week, all weekend-weighted

They are opening Saturdays. Your client hears it from you, with the posting attached.

Nothing on the brief says MyIntelBrief. Your client sees your firm doing the watching.

Each brief also carries review standings, regulatory news, a weekly SEO audit and local map-pack ranking. See the white label sample brief →

Who sees each brief first

  • By default, your client. When you add a client, “Send emails to client” is ticked: each morning’s brief goes straight to them under your name, and you get a hidden copy.
  • Or you, first. Untick “Send emails to client” on any client and every brief comes to you first — nothing reaches them until you pass it on. You choose per client.

Before you ask

It reaches your client as your firm's work.
  • Will my clients know it's not mine? No. It is delivered under your name, with your logo, colours and reply-to — nothing on the brief says MyIntelBrief, and we never disclose that you are a customer.
  • How much work is it for me? One setup per client. Three clients or thirty, it is the same morning for you.
  • Will a bad brief cost me a client? Only if you let it: for any client, untick “Send emails to client” and every brief comes to you first — nothing reaches them until you pass it on.
  • Is this just ChatGPT? No. We read public sources, every signal is cited to its source, and the format is the daily brief intelligence work runs on: what changed, what it means, what to do about it.
  • How do I bill? You bill your clients directly and set your own price — for example, rolled into an existing retainer. See the math →
  • What if a client cancels? Remove or swap a client any time; cancel renewal anytime.
Month eleven, on the renewal call

"Remind me what we're actually paying you for?"

Without a record, you defend your fee from memory. With a white label brief, your client has seen your name on their competitors' moves every morning for eleven months. The renewal answers itself.

How pricing is built

The plan fee buys your workspace and the white label program. Each client business is priced separately — the more you have, the larger the discount. You set what your clients pay. See the plans →
